Ainars Slesers nominated for prime minister in Latvia

Ainars slesers as the official candidate of the For A Good Latvia political association, said today at the annual meeting of the association that he would protect the national interest and pursue international lenders as well as the International Monetary Fund. He added that more Latvian goods and services should be exported to Germany.

LETA writes that Slesers believes Latvian exporters will benefit from opportunities in Uzbekistan in addition to China.

Slesers hopes that For A Good Latvia will be extremely successful in the 10th Saeima elections and that it will ultimately make the final decision on the composition of the next government. Only those with "a strong backbone" and are prepared to protect the national interests of Latvia will be given portfolios in the next government, he stated.

Slesers declared that the next foreign minister, as well as the entire group of Latvian ambassadors abroad should commit 80percent of their time to promoting Latvian businessmen's interests in the world.

Ainars Slesers Andris Kele, who was nominated by For A Good Latvia for the post as finance minister said that Latvia is required to gain economic independence. "If we are forced to take on the burden of debt over time without a national growth can be achieved."

Skele and For A Good Latvia board member Andrejs Ekis have praised Slesers. Slesers further stressed that for a successful mission, you have to be the first to carry out it. The current government and headed by Valdis Dimbrovskis, (New Era), "is trying sedate the nation and telling the people it's all fine." It's dangerous to live on credit. The money you loan will have to be repaid in the near future or sooner.

He's been stuck in a rut at Brussels and doesn't want to get up and quit the European Parliament to become premier of Latvia. Slesers explained that he will have work harder and earn an income that is lower.

The Union of Greens and Farmers' candidate Aivars is in the exact same spot and will not want to move out of Ventspils to assume the role of premier in Riga.

Ainars Slesers Slesers said that For the sake of Good Latvia is open to working with Janis Urbanovics Harmony Center. Urbanovics has a significant amount of experience in the Parliament. However, he doesn't have enough business experience so it is unlikely that he will be appointed the prime minister.

Dombrovskis will be finally voted in by only those who support ongoing "international financial occupation" of Latvia.

Slesers willhowever show people how to make money, conquer international market and live with dignity. He said Guntis Ulmanis will be his first assistant in the administration of the state, and Ulmanis is the person Slesers will seek advice from.

Slesers added that For A Good Latvia would see to that Biblical studies be introduced in all schools beginning on the first of September in the next school year.
